KUMU Art Museum
K
umu Art Museum is the main building of the Art Museum of Estonia in Tallinn Kadriorg. Kumu is home to two of the main Estonian art eras – the classic 18th Collection the end of the century until the end of the Second World War and the Soviet art of the period for 1945-1991.
The building was designed by Finnish architect Pekka Vapaavuori and it was built in 2002-2006. The museum has 7 floors and there is 5000 square meters of exhibition space.
Kumu opening ceremony was held in 17th February 2006 and was attended by, among others, the Estonian President Arnold Rüütel and Finnish President Tarja Halonen. The building was opened for visitors in the 18th February 2006.

2. floor is a large hall, educational, library, book and keraamikapood and restaurant.
3. Estonian classical art floor.
4. floor of the Soviet Estonia and the whole of modern art as an alternative.
5. floor of the gallery and the Library.
